The Wheels on the Bus....

Pinch punch second of the month! Typical me, chasing my tail as per!

My car's very sick this week so I'm left without transport for the foreseeable. Luckily though, we have a great little domestic bus service which runs in a circuit through our nearby towns and villages so I'm using its wheels in the interim! Me and the bus drivers are on first name terms now! It's like having your own little private bus service. Sometimes, there's even other passengers on board to talk to and the scenic route looks better from higher up!!

The apple and the pear blossom smells divine. Hopefully a good harvest this year.

Flamingo Pink sunsets this week.
I'm not a fan of the 'let's blot the sun out club'. Are you?

Off out into the garden while the weather permits. Always stuff to do!

Have a good Bank Holiday weekend if it applies and a good weekend anywhere it doesn't!

Thanks for stopping by.

**Update on car**
I got it back yesterday but the fix may only be temporary so fingers crossed it lasts until I can find a replacement vehicle! Could be a while!

  1. such a bummer ref the car, especially after it appeared to have made it through the mot. Im enjoying bus rides too although this week's test run to Brighton took 3 1/2 hours and was a rattling, cattle truck kind of a ride! (it takes about 1 hour or less by car)... Your views are beautiful, and how nice to be able to look at that instead of concentrating on the boring old road. We have the heat wave full on here, fabulous and long may it last! Betty x

    1. I can't get comfortable on those rickety bone shaker buses! My one is lovely and comfy and super clean! Could you get me he train to Brighton? If you wear hearing aids, ScotRail issue you with a disability card which allows you 30% off each journey, although you have to pay £20 for the card annually. Still worth it if you train it regularly. Not sure if your train operators do it. Worth checking?

  8. The pictures from the bus looks good especially the one with the yellow carpet. Bus rides are fun and a good vehicle to explore.

  9. Just passing through! I love those bus services like that. They are so useful! Reminds me of the crucial Little White Bus we got from Hawes in Yorkshire to the railway station. Crucial to us as it would have been really hard to get there otherwise!
